Shopify Web Designer · conversion-first
A Shopify store that sells is a different build from one that exists.
Shopify makes a store easy to launch. It does not make it easy to convert.
Shopify is the right platform for almost every store — the checkout alone is worth it. But a theme with your logo on it converts like a theme with your logo on it. We design Shopify stores around the shopper: category pages that rank and reassure, product pages that answer "will this work for me," a checkout with nothing added, and speed that survives a phone on a cell connection. Then we run Shopify conversion rate optimization on what launched.
Is Shopify the right platform for you?
Three questions. An honest answer, including "not this one."
The recommendation is platform-honest — sometimes it is not this one.

Shopify, honestly
What Shopify does well — and where it fights you.
Every platform is a trade. Here is ours on Shopify, from building and fixing a lot of them.
Strengths
The best checkout in the business, reliable hosting, payments and shipping solved, an app for everything, and a theme system a store owner can actually edit. For products, nothing else here comes close.
Limits
Apps pile up and slow the site; themes are generic by default; the blog and content tools are weak; deep customization means Liquid and a developer. Speed on a phone takes real work.
When we'd move you
Rarely away from Shopify for a store. Toward hand-coded only when the "store" is really a tool, a configurator or a B2B portal that Shopify keeps fighting.
How we build on it
Conversion first. Platform second.
The platform doesn't change the job: a first screen that says what you do and what to do next, the phone number where a thumb can reach it, proof beside the offer, one clear action, and a page that loads in under three seconds. We build all of that on Shopify — and we work around the platform's limits instead of pretending they aren't there.
When a site outgrows Shopify, we say so and migrate it without losing rankings. The company-side quotes for Denver businesses live at Denver Web Design; the person who designs them is at zacharytyewennstedt.com; custom-coded sites and the $99/month subscribe-to-own program are at Eye To Ad Media.
Audit what you have
If you're already on the platform, the free audit finds the leaks before anything is rebuilt.
Build the conversion layer
First screen, offer, proof, one action, speed — on the platform, within its limits.
Wire the tracking
Calls, forms, chats — counted, by source.
Test and keep
Headline, offer, form — one change at a time, measured.
If a shopper on a phone can't tell in five seconds whether your product will work for them, what did the ad accomplish?
Questions
Straight answers.
Yes — theme selection or a custom theme, category structure, product page templates, checkout settings, apps kept to the minimum, tracking, and the conversion layer. Quoted per project after a conversation about what the store has to do.
That's most of the work we do on Shopify: the free audit finds the leaks — usually product pages that don't answer questions, too many apps, slow themes and a cluttered checkout — and we fix them in order.
Improving the share of visitors who buy: product page clarity, trust beside the add-to-cart, checkout friction, speed, and testing. Typical store conversion sits around two percent; the work is in the tenths of a point that compound.
It can. Category pages built around real search terms, product structured data and a clean URL structure give it a chance. The search-side campaign is ecommerce SEO at Eye To Ad Media.
A focused store in a few weeks; a large catalog longer. Product data and photos are usually the long pole, not the design.
Quoted per project. A conversion fix on an existing store is a different job from a new build. No contract until you're ready.
A Shopify site built to convert.
Honest about the platform, serious about the phone ringing. If we can do all of that within your budget, are you ready to get started?
